“Finally I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
And gave it up. And took my old body… and sang.”Through Voices of Singapore, Catherine aims to make that joy accessible to all.

Seraphim brings with her over two decades of experience from the non-profit, private and public sectors. The notable highlight of her career was having the opportunity to work at the Istana as Head of Media and Communications, serving both Dr Tony Tan and Mdm Halimah Yacob, the 7th and 8th Presidents of the Republic of Singapore respectively. Seraphim’s career now includes operations and management. Her experience in the various sectors and fields have honed her ability to adapt and to be nimble.
The arts, especially music, is in Seraphim’s DNA. She began playing the piano and violin at 4. She sees her journey into Singapore’s arts scene in her professional life as a dream come true as she is now able to marry her first love with the corporate skills she has gained over the years. When time permits, you will see Seraphim actively performing with community orchestras including the MacPherson Philharmonic Orchestra (MPPO) and the Okestra Melayu Singapura (OMS).

Priscilla brings with her a wealth of accounting experience, honed across a variety of industries. After contributing as a freelancer for several years, she recently converted to becoming a full-time member of the VOS Team. She also now leads Human Resources at VOS.
As a church pianist and vocalist, she participated in musical productions and was a chorister with the Singapore Symphony Chorus. She also takes part in VOS programmes, primarily singing with the VOS Ladies Choir. When not occupied with spreadsheets, she practices the harp, plays merge games, and does cross-stitching.

Gabriel is an arts manager at VOS with a decade of experience bringing music, choirs and creative collaborations to life. Passionate about inclusivity in the arts, he has orchestrated large-scale productions, international tours and the VOS Festival (2020–2024), working with groups like The Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the Singapore Symphony Children’s and Youth Choirs.
Having pursued Arts Management since 2014, Gabriel graduated from NAFA in 2020 with a Bachelor of Arts (Arts Management), earning First-Class Honours and the Best Graduate Award. A former chorister turned behind-the-scenes problem solver, he thrives on dynamic projects—whether it’s staging a sold-out show or caring for his anxious (but adorable) rescue cat, Bincho.

Words, music, and storytelling: Curie brings them together as the Marketing Manager of Voices of Singapore. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Communications & New Media from NUS (and a minor from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music for good measure), she ensures that VOS’ work in the arts and charity sectors gets the recognition it deserves.
Before joining VOS, she built her expertise in social media and public relations agencies, even spending a year navigating the fast-paced business scene in Shanghai. When she’s not crafting campaigns or perfecting the art of a well-timed tagline, you’ll find her at the piano accompanying singers and instrumentalists, gigging with her band MOHANO, or singing with VOS choirs.
Marketing by day, music by night—Curie lives by the motto that life in the arts never just has one soundtrack.

Jing Xuan thrives on bringing creative ideas to life—whether it’s planning concerts, working with artists, or shaping a choir’s harmonies. She finds joy in every step of the process, from the first spark of an idea to the final performance. Driven by her passion for sharing the magic of music, she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and continues to refine her skills in conducting and music education. When she is not making music, she is out exploring nature or playing sports, always drawn to the energy and rhythm that inspire her work.

Steph has been immersed in choral singing since primary school and it has remained a defining part of her life. After spending six years in the UK earning her MArts and BA in Music and Music Psychology from the University of Leeds and working with the National Youth Choir, she returned home to contribute to the choral community.
Now, she oversees the 500-strong VOS Children’s Choir and VOS Youth Choir, ensuring that young singers get the same enriching experiences that shaped her own journey. While she has stepped off the stage, she is just as passionate about supporting the next generation from behind the scenes. And when she is not chasing singers around, she’s off chasing sunsets and ocean views with an iced matcha in hand.

Music has shaped every chapter of Daniel’s journey: from arranging for the school band and playing the clarinet in a wind ensemble, to teaching in special education and preschool settings. Each experience highlighted the power of music to bring people together and spark creativity. After a mid-career transition from a customer-care role, Daniel returned to his musical roots. Now, he focuses on creating spaces where everyone can connect through music and discover their own unique rhythm.

Justin has spent most of his life immersed in the choral scene both onstage and offstage. With a Master of Music in Music Education and Associate Diploma (ATCL) in Singing, Justin wears multiple hats as a Conductor and Artistic Coordinator at VOS. He is passionate about creating safe environments for singers to learn together and develop their love for music. Outside the rehearsal room, Justin enjoys quiet moments with good noise-cancellation and coffee.

With a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Joyce is passionate about navigating compliance complexities and maintaining financial integrity. At VOS, she ensures that while the music soars, the finances stay grounded.
Before joining the organisation, she worked as a tax professional, guiding companies through the intricacies of IRAS compliance. When not immersed in spreadsheets, Joyce enjoys painting and delving into psychology, always curious about the intersection of logic and human behaviour.

A double agent in the arts, Eve balances her time between managing projects and venues at VOS and teaching ceramics in the studio. With a degree in Arts Management and a deep belief in the arts’ power to bring people together, she works behind the scenes to create meaningful experiences, helping to stage performances and festivals for over 1,000 singers across 27 choirs in the VOS community.
She has helped stage shows for over 10,300 audience members including the VOS Festival and supported the Children’s Choir Tour in the UK. When she’s not orchestrating events, Eve finds solace in the pottery studio, shaping clay into functional art. Whether onstage or at the wheel, she thrives in the creative process—building, refining and bringing ideas to life.

In an alternate universe, Rachel has gone viral for being a tubby orange cat with a penchant for meowing loudly along to show tunes. In this one, she is chasing her passion for singing differently. With a BA in Arts Management from LASALLE College of the Arts and a VOS polo shirt over her head, Rachel assists with the administration and operations of the 500-strong Voices of Singapore Children’s Choir.
Combining her decade of involvement in singing and experience in arts management, she helps ensure that every child who walks through VOS’ doors has as meaningful of a time in the programme as possible. While this is no online virality, Rachel believes that this is as culturally impactful as being an orange singing cat.

She may not sing or play an instrument (ironic, we know), but with a love for the arts and human connections, Maira knows how to hit the right notes in marketing. From heart-driven campaigns to supporting our community impact programmes, she is all about bringing people together both online and offline. When not at her desk, you will probably catch her writing poetry, reading nature books, or hugging a tree because for Maira, it’s all about nurturing both people and the world around her.
