Young Voices Festival

We are launching our very first Young Voices Festival this November! As part of our mission of building a Singing Singapore, we want to give children from different backgrounds in Singapore a platform to come together to sing. It is also an opportunity for children who are new to singing to experience singing in a choir over a 2-day holiday program. We hope to encourage and inspire the next generation to explore communal singing and embrace music in their daily lives.

The programme will consist of 2 days of workshops on the 29th and 30th of November, led by our very own conductors on skills and topics surrounding choral music like ensemble skills, reading music, musicality and singing technique. Children will be grouped into choirs and will experience each workshop and learn new repertoire together in their respective groups. The event will culminate in an evening showcase at Chijmes Hall on the 30th November for friends and loved ones, where each choir will get to present the music they have learnt and to hear their peers share their music.
