A VOS SING60 Concert celebrating Singapore’s Choral Heritage

Singapore, 6 February 2025, Thursday — Voices of Singapore (VOS) proudly presents Remembering Our Stories, an evocative concert celebrating Singapore’s rich choral heritage through iconic SYF works, contributions from local and international composers, and exciting new premieres. As the first instalment of the #SING60 series, this special concert takes place on 15 & 16 March at SOTA Concert Hall.

#SING60 is a year-long series by Voices of Singapore dedicated to Building, Inspiring, and Celebrating a singing nation in honour of Singapore’s 60th anniversary.

Remembering Our Stories traces the evolution of Singapore’s choral scene, featuring beloved SYF set pieces that have shaped generations of singers alongside extraordinary works by established and emerging local composers. Led by prominent conductors and composers from Singapore’s vibrant choral community, this programme blends nostalgic favourites with fresh premieres, honouring the diversity and cultural richness of Singaporean choral music.

Voices of Singapore Ladies Choir conducted by Darius Lim, Stephenie Lee, and Joyce Ang. Accompanied by Roe Curie.

Voices of Singapore Men’s Choir conducted by Justin Goh, Flora Yee, and Nicholas Tham. Accompanied by Isaac Lim.
