Tham Pei Wen is a passionate music educator and choral conductor dedicated to nurturing the musical growth of students across various ages, abilities and needs. With a Master's degree in Kodály Music Pedagogy and a Master's in Education, Pei Wen brings expertise in Early Childhood Music Education, Special Needs Music Education and Choral Conducting.
As a music curriculum specialist, Pei Wen has developed signature music programmes for various institutions, showcasing her expertise in curriculum development and implementation. She has worked with students with diverse needs, creating inclusive and engaging music experiences. As a sought-after choral conductor, Pei Wen leads choirs and music programmes, including the Starlight Programme for children with special needs and an Early Childhood Programme at Voices of Singapore.
Guided by a holistic approach to music education, Pei Wen develops the whole person – cognitively, physically, socially-emotionally, morally and aesthetically. She is committed to creating a supportive and inclusive musical community, empowering students to reach their full potential. Through her work, Pei Wen strives to inspire educators to adopt holistic and adaptive approaches to music education. With her passion for music and dedication to her students, Pei Wen continues to make a meaningful impact in the music education community.
