Cynthia Goh is a lawyer by profession and a passionate pianist who began her musical journey at the age of six. She holds the Fellowship of Trinity College of Music, London (FTCL) in piano performance, and is a recent winner of the "Youth-At-Heart" category in the 6th Steinway Youth Piano Competition. In her youth, she won numerous music competitions including 1st and 2nd prizes in the National Music Competition across Junior, Senior and Open Sections, and the Rolex Music Performance Awards Competition. A Yamaha Music School scholar, she performed her own composition in the 1981 Junior Original Concert in Japan at the age of 8.
Cynthia most recently performed the Schumann Piano Concerto in A minor with Musicians Initiative at the Victoria Concert Hall, and also performed a recital in the 2024 Heartstrings Charity Concert at the Arts House, raising funds for the Lions Community Service Foundation. Her passion for choir and accompaniment began in secondary school, where she was the school and choir pianist. She is delighted to serve as collaborative pianist for the Voices of Singapore.
