The World Sings As One

Established in 2026 by Voices of Singapore, the Voices of the World International Choir Festival (VOTW) is a non-competitive international choral festival held in Singapore. It brings together outstanding children’s and youth choirs from around the world to celebrate global choral excellence, music and cultural exchange.

Its second edition will take place from 27–30 July 2028.

The inaugural edition welcomed choirs from Canada, Sri Lanka, Australia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, New Zealand and Thailand, alongside Singaporean choirs. The festival features gala concerts, performances, workshops and open rehearsals led by renowned international conductors.

Beyond the stage, VOTW provides opportunities for young singers to learn from one another, experience different choral traditions and build friendships across cultures.

"We Are the World" - Voices of the World International Choir Festival (Live in Singapore)

  • “My favourite thing about the festival is definitely the people. When I’m here [...] I’m surrounded by a bunch of really enthusiastic choral music lovers. It’s what I love about choral music in general, and it’s embodied by the VOS Festival.”

Sanders Lau, Founder and Artistic Director of NOĒMA

  • “A variety of styles and songs were presented—something for everyone.”

    Festival Attendee

  • “The conductor's chorus was so stunning and tearful. My heart is filled with so much hope for our choir and arts scene! Thank you for such a beautiful event.”

    Festival Attendee

  • “Whether in an intimate recital, outdoor performance, or gala concert, the VOS Festival provides an opportunity for choirs, vocal groups, and singers to showcase their music via a platform where they can share their stories best.”

Amir Mirza, Participant and Festival Ambassador

  • “It is important for conductors also to see other conductors at work, not only just conducting, but also in the rehearsal room. Picking up different strategies and tips or fun little games and songs to teach the children as well. I think that’s been the most rewarding for me.”

    Justin Goh, Conductor

  • “Thank you for the warm hospitality extended to all the participants and the tireless behind-the-scenes work to make this event possible! What a beautiful way to [celebrate] a Singing Singapore by welcoming singers from all walks of life, while still featuring and upholding a high level of choral performance.”

    Participating Choir

  • “This was our first time participating in the festival and we didn't quite know what to expect but we experienced nothing but warmth and friendliness from everyone. Thank you to the team for putting together such a well-organised festival and I'm sure we’ll be back. Our students had a wonderful time.”
