David Cho
Collaborative Pianist
VOS Children’s Choir (JC3A, ICB)
David is a pianist passionate in making music with friends and colleagues alike, revelling in the magical synergy embedded within every collaborative performance. As part of Voices of Singapore since 2022, he is very excited to witness the progression and growth of not only the choirs that he plays for but of himself as well; he believes that there is always something to learn from those that he collaborates with, no matter their age or technical level.
Choral music is very important to David as he comes from a background of singing with the Singapore Symphony Children’s Choir and Youth Choir, with collaboration at the heart of his enjoyment in music. He has been very fortunate to grow up in a supportive and musical environment alongside peers that constantly inspire and invigorate him, ultimately encouraging him to pursue his passions and interests. He is also very grateful to have had the pleasure to collaborate with his childhood friends in their own recitals and spend quality time with them preparing for it.
David is currently continuing his instrumental studies with his teacher Dr Cherie Khor in the midst of awaiting for a university placement and will be matriculating in 2026.
