Elaine Lee is a dedicated music educator, choir conductor and performer passionate about nurturing musicianship through engaging and creative teaching methods. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Performing Arts (Music) from the University of Malaya and professional certifications in the Kodály approach to music education from Australia, covering early childhood, primary and secondary levels. She is also an ABRSM Grade 8 vocalist and an Associate of Trinity College London in Piano Performing.
Currently serving as a Choir Conductor with Voices of Singapore, Elaine combines structured musicianship with interactive learning to make music education both joyful and meaningful. She has extensive experience teaching individual piano and vocal students, as well as working one-on-one with special needs children, helping them connect with music in personal and expressive ways.
Her choirs have achieved remarkable success under her direction — most recently winning the Children’s Choir Category Champion at the 1st Interkulture International Choir Competition in Kuching. Previously, her choir earned a Gold Diploma and the Outstanding Choir Award at the 2024 Malaysian Eisteddfod International Choral Festival.
As a performer, Elaine has performed in Malaysia, Singapore, China, Korea and Indonesia, collaborating on numerous musical projects and concerts that celebrate choral artistry and cross-cultural exchange. Beyond the stage, she enjoys traveling across Southeast Asia, where she finds creative inspiration in its cultures and landscapes. To Elaine, both music and travel are journeys of connection, discovery, and shared harmony.
