Jean Teo

Collaborative Pianist

VOS Children’s Choir (JC2A)

Jean Teo started learning the piano at the age of three and music has been an integral part of her life ever since. Her passion for choir and accompaniment began in secondary school, where she discovered the joy of singing in harmony and supporting fellow singers to create something greater together than any individual performance alone. Since then, she has found deep meaning in making music collaboratively — whether as a pianist, accompanist, or choir singer.

Jean holds distinctions in both ABRSM Grade 8 Piano and Theory, and was awarded the Hedy King Robinson Prize for her outstanding Grade 8 Theory results. She also holds the ATCL and AMusTCL diplomas. Beyond her musical achievements, Jean remains deeply grateful for the mentors, friends, and communities that have shaped her musical journey. She finds the greatest joy in connecting with others through music and sharing that joy wherever she plays or sings.
