Justin Goh
Conductor
VOS Men and VOS Children’s Choir (JC2A, PGB)
Justin Goh is a choral conductor, music arranger and Artistic Coordinator at Voices of Singapore (VOS). Recognised as one of Singapore’s most exceptional young conductors, he is redefining the landscape of male choral singing in the nation. As the founding conductor of the award-winning VOS Men, Justin has led the ensemble to national and international acclaim, including two Gold awards and a Category Champion title at the Malaysian Choral Eisteddfod–International Choir Festival 2024.
Justin holds a Master of Music in Music Education from the Longy School of Music of Bard College and an Associate Diploma (ATCL) in Singing from Trinity College London. His master’s final project focused on curriculum design for choirs of boys with changing voices—an area he continues to champion through both teaching and programming. He spearheads Let the Boys Sing, a programme for young male singers to better understand their changing voices and collaborate with other male choirs. The initiative fosters musical growth, confidence, and camaraderie among boys navigating voice change.
At just 18, Justin was awarded Most Promising Conductor at A Voyage of Songs – International Choral Festival (2013). He also holds the distinction of being the youngest-ever resident conductor of any male choir in Singapore, breaking ground in a field traditionally led by senior conductors.
Justin currently conducts VOS Men, VOS Children’s Choir – Performing Group B (Boys’ Changing Voices), Junior Choir 2 and several school choirs across Singapore.
