VOS Children’s Choir


Stefenie Rachel Wong is a Singaporean musician, choral conductor and music educator and holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours with Distinction), and a Minor in English Linguistics and Classical Literature from the University of Manchester. Consistently on the Dean’s List, she was given the opportunity to be the youngest conductor of the university’s chamber choir - Ad Solem, in her first year. In 2019, she graduated with Distinction from the Cambridge School of Visual and Performing Arts majoring in Piano Performance as one out of six choral scholars, during which she also attained her Licentiate of the Royal School of Music.

As a multidisciplinary practitioner, Stefenie’s pedagogy is shaped by literature and all aspects of the arts; She has a strong passion for arts education and believes in the nurturing of music talent and interest in young children. She places strong emphasis on the importance of arts and music education and its ability to impact and shape an individual, psychologically and cognitively. 

Stefenie currently conducts VOS Children’s Choir - Junior Choir Group 3B and sings with the VOS Youth Choir. She also runs the choral programmes in several school choirs, and is the Artistic Director and Founder of sol/lux; None of which can be done without an iced oat latte or an açai bowl.
