Stephenie Lee holds ABRSM Diplomas in Singing, Piano Performance and Instrumental Teaching, as well as certificates in Kodaly Music Education, Conducting, and Vocal Pedagogy. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the National University of Singapore. Her educational background, coupled with her interest in Vocal Health and Pedagogy, has led her to obtain a certificate in Vocal Health First Aid.
Stephenie is the current conductor of secondary school choirs Pei Hwa Secondary, Unity Secondary and St Joseph’s Convent, where she is passionate about developing vocal technique, musicianship and literacy, as well as care for adolescent changing voices.
Besides conducting school choirs, Stephenie is one of the pioneering conductors for the Voices of Singapore Children’s Choir (VOSCC), an organisation with the mission of nurturing children towards choral music excellence, where she is currently the lead conductor of the VOSCC Senior Choirs.
Stephenie has also had experience teaching general music at Pathlight School, an autism-focused school for children with special needs. Students under Stephenie span a variety of ages and ability levels, and are all testimonies of her versatility and commitment as a teacher.
Her conviction to continuing education and life-long learning shows in her ever-expanding list of credentials; Stephenie is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Choral Pedagogy from Westminster Choir College, Rider University.
