The Singapore Virtual Choir: ‘Home’ uniting over 900 voices across the globe
In April 2020, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Voices of Singapore Virtual Choir brought together over 900 voices from Singapore and 26 countries worldwide to sing Dick Lee’s beloved national song, Home. This initiative featured a choral arrangement of the song by Darius Lim. The project symbolises the strength, hope, and unity of Singaporeans - both at home and abroad - and people living in Singapore during an unprecedented time. It also demonstrates music's power to unite people in encouragement and camaraderie.
The music video remains a moving testament to the enduring spirit of community that transcends borders.
