A Nation-wide Choir for Singers for Change

Voices of Singapore (VOS) proudly unveils its latest youth endeavour, the Voices of Singapore Youth Choir (VYC). Led by VOS’ Artistic Director, Dr Darius Lim, VYC is an outstanding choral programme for exceptionally skilled choristers, musicians, and composers. The debut season is slated for March–June 2024.

For the inaugural 2024 season, every participating singer will be awarded a full, comprehensive scholarship which covers the costs of choral tutelage, all administrative fees, and expenses related to concert programming and management.  

 

VYC aims to offer a wide platform for artistic growth and culturally engagement, with plans for an international touring programme, as well as concert tours in Singapore. The programme will also provide outreach avenues with VOS' community impact programmes for the underprivileged.

REQUIREMENTS

• Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old at the time of application.

• Residency: Applicants must be residing in Singapore. This includes permanent residents and individuals with work or student passes.

• Tenure: Acceptance into the Youth Choir Programme includes a tenure of 1 year, with the possibility of renewal upon expiry.
