Could choral singing help in the prevention of Dementia?

In 2015, the National University of Singapore initiated a study investigating Choral Singing in the prevention of Dementia, with Darius Lim as the lead choral programmer for this research.

Weekly choral training proved to improve the emotional and mental health of the senior volunteers involved. This was an exciting result, signifying that regular choral singing may be able to reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases.
